Outer Banks Trip with Taylors

Scott and Tate were at the beach this week and we don't get to see them often so we took advantage of it and went to Nags Head to see them while they were in NC!  We left early Friday morning and drove down.  We were on the beach by 11:30.

Sharks had been spotted that morning by surfers so we couldn't go deep but the kids had fun playing at the edge!

Friday night the cousins went out to dinner and had a fun night out!

We left the beach about 7:00 and I had a very quiet ride home - these two played hard!

 

Fun times with family even though it was a quick trip!  Can't wait to go again for a longer time in a few weeks and for Corey to be with us!!

Sunday

and got to meet sweet baby Marshall!

 

Tuesday 

We spent the day in Greensboro with these cuties.  It was so good to see Amanda, her mom and boys!

We got baths and headed to see Shrek with the McKeels and our moms

The show was good but it was long and after 10:00 when we got out - Ella fell asleep!

 

Friday morning we woke up early and headed to Nags Heads with the Taylors while Scott and Tate were in town!

 

 



A Day with Greensboro with College Friends

Amanda (BFF from college) and her mom come to Greensboro each year for a conference with her mom's work.  Amanda lives in the mountains and we don't get to see her much so when she is close - we always try to get together.  On Tuesday, my mom, my kids, Abbie, her mom and her kids and me loaded up in my mom's van and headed to Greensboro.  We met Amanda with her kids at the childrens museum.  The kids had a blast exploring the museum.
