Snow Day #2 in 2014

We hardly ever have one snow day a month, much less 2!  The kids were excited that snow was coming again.  Last night we played games as we waited for the snow to arrive.

Playing the game Cootie
Daddy and Caleb worked on his new puzzle
Caleb was excited to finally get it finished

The kids went to bed a little disappointed that we didn't have much accumulation.

But we woke up to over 5 inches!
We got up early, ate breakfast and were outside playing by 8:30 this morning.
Here the kids are all bundled up and ready to play!
Riding on the sled
Having fun outside
Ella riding the sled - she was so bundled up she could hardly move!
Me and my girl in the snow

The kids didn't last long playing - they were cold and wanted snow cream.

So we came in to warm up and make snow cream!

Caleb loves it!

And Ella sure enjoyed hers too!

We stayed in a little while and played some more games.

Corey was ready to go somewhere and Abbie had invited us to go sledding so we headed over.
The roads were pretty bad and it took us almost an hour to get there but it was worth the drive!
We had so much fun playing in the snow and sledding!

Caleb and Mattox
Tucker, Madi Grace, and Ella

All loaded up and ready to go to the big hill
Caleb and Mattox went first!
All the boys coming back up the hill
Then it was the girls turn - they don't look so sure!

Caleb and Ella went down together and Ella wouldn't open her eyes for the picture - little stinker!
Ella walked back up that hill about 100 times.  When you asked her if she wanted you to carry her she would respond "I got it!"
The boys coming back up to go again!
The boys had alot of fun sledding!
Abbie and Madi on the hill watching
Me and Corey with the girls

We took a short break for lunch and then headed back out for some more fun!
Ella wanted to wear my gloves - look how big her hands look!

Ready to sled again - all smiles!
Down the hill again!
They tried out all the different kinds of tubes and sleds we had!
We left Abbie's house about 4:00 and Ella fell asleep before we got out of the driveway!

We headed over to Granddaddy and Grammy's for some chicken pot pie, baths for the kids, and a few episodes of Sheriff Callie's.
We got home about 7:00 and Caleb was asleep on the couch!
And Ella crawled in my bed and went to sleep!

We are all exhausted but it was such a fun day!

Dinner with Owen

We had not seen Owen in a month due to various things (one that he had been sick) so we finally got together for dinner at Granddaddy and Grammy's house last Thursday night.  He is crawling now!

Such a big boy!
Pulling the toy away so he would crawl to it
Crawling to get Ella
Ella reading her book to him
Kent and Owen
Ella feeding her baby (that was my baby when I was little)
in her highchair that Grandaddy made for her
Reading books
All the Raynor grand kids playing
Granddaddy and his boys - Caleb loves making Owen laugh!
Owen crawling to Caleb
Ella sure does love Uncle Kent
Caleb loves holding Owen

We had a fun time playing with Owen - he sure is growing up too fast!

Taylors Every Day - week 5

I am not doing the best taking a picture EVERYDAY but I do have a few from the week!

Saturday we had a Yard Sale at church and we got up early so we had a quiet night at home.

Ella wanted to paint her toenails!
And she picked purple - love those sweet feet!
I asked her to say "Cheese" and this is what I got!

Monday the kids were ready to go back to school - with MLK day and snow, Caleb only went 1 day and Ella didn't go at all last week.

This morning before we headed out!
Caleb wanted a picture by himself!

This afternoon while Ella napped, I got the kids Valentines shirts made!

And I had to take a picture of Ella and Sophia napping this afternoon :)

We are supposed to get snow and lots of it so school was cancelled on Tuesday.  We decided that we better get out of the house while we could so we meet some of our preschool friends at ChickfilA for breakfast.
My two monkeys ready to play
Caleb and his buddy Pierce (I didn't get a picture of Lizzie Kate, Batten, or David Worth)

We were still there playing at lunch time and in walked the McKeels and the kids wanted to stay and play with them so we stayed a little longer.

The girls eating ice cream!

Mattox and Caleb

I am ashamed to say that we went to ChickfilA at 9:00 am and left after 2:00 pm - my kids played for 5 hours and had a blast.  Ella fell asleep on the way home.  Glad they could play with their friends before we get snowed in!  They are saying it is 100% chance it will snow and the kids can't wait!
