Our Weekend - Missions and Madi

We spent most of our weekend at church at our annual Missions Conference.  We got to spend time with and hear from missionaries that our church supports all around the world.
Our kids had a blast hanging out with the children.
This picture is from lunch on Sunday after church.

We also got to celebrate Madi Grace's 3rd Birthday on Saturday.

When we got home from the party I put the fish on the counter.  I came back in the room and Caleb's hand was in the bowl.  I asked what he was doing and he replied "Just giving my fish a back rub".   Oh boy - this should be an adventure!

Ella got a fish too but she most enjoyed the bag of goodies!
Here are two new additions to the Taylor house - our new fish!
Caleb's fish is the orange one and he named it Gully.
Ella's fish is the white one with an orange spot and she named it Molly.
It was a rainy day so when we got home from the party - Caleb headed out to go splash in the mud puddles.  One happy boy getting dirty :)

The Ritchies came over for dinner on Saturday night
Ella enjoyed the red velvet cupcakes that Heather made.

Happy Valentines Day

Friday was Valentines Day!

Here are my presents laid out for my Valentines -
Corey's Valentines laid out by the coffee pot - one from each of us :)
The kids were in bed with me when Corey got ready to leave and told us bye and Happy Valentines Day!  Caleb jumped up and said "Yes, it is Valentines Day!  I can give you your gifts!"  He ran to his room and came back with gifts for everyone!  He did this all by himself.
Gift giving is definitely this boys love language :)

Here is Caleb with gifts for me (purple heart card) and Corey (Santa bag full of green tractors and trains)...
Here are my sleepy heads in the bed...that bag bag full of cars was Ella's gift.
Ella checking out her Valentines present from Caleb...
And then they dumped them all out and played in my bed...
As soon as Caleb gave them to Ella he asked if she would share with him.  She said "OK...which one do you want".  These two sure love each other!
When they got out of bed, I gave them their Valentine gift from us
Caleb was excited about his M&Ms
Holding some of their goodies...

It wasn't much but they were excited :)
Ella eating chocolate about 6:45 am!
Then we got dressed in our Valentine shirts and headed to a Valentine party at Anna Jane's house
Caleb in his airplane shirt

Ella all ready for Valentines Day!
Here are the kids at AJ's house - the only picture I got.  They were having a dance party and Caleb was the DJ.  The girls were all dressed up in dress up clothes!
We had a fun time and were glad to see our friends after being stuck at home since Tuesday!

Then we headed over to Granddaddy and Mammy's house for lunch and Valentine goodies!
Caleb and Owen after lunch in their matching shirts
Covering their eyes and waiting for their goodies
Ella got some puzzles, Caleb got a game and they both got lots of candy!
Sweet baby snuggles after lunch  - love him!
Owen playing with his toy he got for Valentines Day!
Owen got puffs and yogurt melts instead of candy :)
Playing - such a happy boy!

Friday night we went to the mall to do a little shopping, got Japanese take out and ate dinner at home, and watched a movie when we got the kids to bed.
So thankful for a wonderful day with the ones I love!
