Life Lately - First Full Week of Summer

Monday

We went to the library to sign up for their summer reading program 

The kids played in the kid area for a while and I enjoyed the peace and quiet :) 

We made peach dumplings 

YUM! 

We got sweet letters from Jenna at camp 

That night we met Heather and Tucker at the library for "Circus Shenanigans"

Jenna sent Ella a friendship bracelet.  She loves being like the big girls

Tuesday 

We headed to the pool 

The boys played baseball in the backyard while the girls ate freeze pops

Wednesday

Thursday 

We went to the movies and saw "Epic" with the Stones 

Play Date at their house and the girls always end up dressing up! 

Mr. Doug and some of the kids in God's Backyard before it gets redone 

We went and made a funny video to try and get donations from the congregation 

Letting them paint the wall and the video will say "We Need Your Help" 

Caleb was a happy boy that Granddaddy made him a new rabbit box for our house.  He hopes to catch a new pet!

The kids also enjoyed playing with Lauren and Granddaddy while I worked.

Friday

We met the Hutchens at the pool and I didn't take any pictures!

Saturday

Making dessert for Father's Day 

We told Corey we would do whatever he wanted to do - he picked putting out pinestraw! 

Caleb caught a frog! 

His report card came in the mail - All Ms for mastery, reading level N, and his teacher commented he was "such a pleasure to teach",  So proud of this boy! 

We ate lunch at the Creamery with the Stones

Life Lately - Fathers Day, Williamsburg, and Three Bear Acres

Sunday

We cooked breakfast for Corey before church for Father's Day.

We gave him a Lowes gift card so he could work on his shop.

After church, mom cooked lunch and we celebrated with dad.

The kids helping him open presents. 

A new Atlantic Christian College t-shirt and some Lowes gift cards 

Chocolate mousse for dessert - thankful to celebrate with these great dads! 

The kids love when Corey sprays whipped cream in their mouths 

Dad wasn't feeling great but we had a great day celebrating him anyway! 

That night we headed to Williamsburg and went to Busch Gardens - holding hands walking in the park

Thursday

We loaded up and headed to Three Bear Acres with some of our church friends

Friday

Caleb woke up and called Granddaddy and said "I'm thinking about fishing - what are you doing?"  Granddaddy was here in 15 minutes and Caleb was an excited boy! 

That afternoon we went to the library to get prizes for the books they read - they got train tickets for the Rec - so fun! 

This boy has come a long way - sitting and reading 

We picked the garden - summer veggies - YUM!

These cuties got a bath, had cupcakes and watched some TV.

Saturday

We washed windows, worked in the yard and planted some flowers. 

These two helped but took several freeze pop breaks :) 

Late that afternoon we cooled off in the neighbors pool 

We went to dinner at BWW and  to Dunhams.  These two picked out what they wanted for Christmas!
