Taylors Every Day - Celebrating with Friends

Monday
First day back at school after spring break - no one was happy and it was dreary and raining!
After dinner Ella helped me wash dishes.
Lately this sweet girl will say "Is there anything I can help you with Mommy?" so I put her to work.  She loves helping!
At the library after dinner, we are trying to finish their Reading Bingo cards before the end of the year so they can attend the party!

Tuesday
Still raining - our yard was so wet!
We went to pick up cupcakes after school and Ella spotted the "Easy Cheese" so I told them we needed to find "Chicken in a Biscuit crackers" - this snack reminds me of my childhood.
I sent this picture to Kent and he responded "Mmmm...I call that a Teri Raynor special" - ha!
Ella's cute Lion and Lamb crafts from school they did in March - and can you see her little handprint?
School pictures came home - look how BIG my babies are!
We celebrated two sweet babies that will be arriving this summer!
Rebecca is having a girl and Jamie is having a boy!
We can't wait to meet Caroline and Logan!
Sweet friends celebrating at Olive Garden
Our area was flooding due to all the rain - check out a local park

Wednesday
The kids had a delay to school so we worked on some thank notes
We put these notes with all our spring flower fundraiser orders - I was so pleased with how well Ella did writing them!  Caleb's handwriting is on the left and Ella's is on the right.
Caleb requested to go eat at "Granddaddy's favorite restaurant" for breakfast.  (otherwise known as Amy Jo's).  Here we are wishing SO bad he was there with us!
Not sure it was a good idea - Caleb starting crying as soon as we pulled in the parking lot and I sat there and fought back tears the entire time we ate.  The waitress would come ask questions and I would have to swallow hard to get words out.  It was a sad morning but thankful it is some thing we can share and remember dad by!  Man, we miss him!

After school delivering our flowers orders -- thank you to all who ordered!
Corey's new backpack arrived for his upcoming camping trip

Thursday
Another delay to school due to flooding
Before school we went to feed the bunnies, to the library to check out books, and to the park to play - these kids are loving the school delays but do not sleep any later!
With my BSF friends - so thankful for them and the study of John this year!
We all met for dinner at San Jose to celebrate Jenna, who will be leaving us for camp soon :(
We tried to get a good photo but the lighting kept being off
Thankfully a family stopped and took a picture for us - we will all miss Jenna SO much!
After dinner we went to work out!

Friday
Another delay to school = time to play outside
After school, Caleb got an early birthday present - new fishing pole that he could take on the Father Son Retreat
He was so excited!  The boys headed to Camp Willow Run for a Father Son Retreat with a group from church.
Ella headed to Mammy's house for the night - she packed more clothes for her baby than she did for herself!
They ate Chickfila and played the Jelly Bean "Bean Boozled" game
They built some lego "masterpieces"
Ella with one of my babies wearing one of my outfits from when I was a baby
I headed to Raleigh for the Outcry Tour with these girls (and a few more not pictured!)
Soaking up our time with this girl before she leaves
We were rushing in to get seats but got pretty decent ones
With my girls - love these two!
We have been wanting to see Lauren Daigle for so long!
Outcry Tour was awesome BUT Lauren Daigle didn't sing long enough (we were a little disappointed by that) but overall enjoyed it and had a good time!

A few of my favorite quotes of the evening were "When you are in a valley, don't just describe your problems, declare His promises", "Breathe in His promises and Breathe out His praises" and "Be thankful for the gaps.  The gap between you and Jesus will keep you humble and the gap between where you are now and where you were before Jesus will make you thankful"

My two new favorites I heard at the concert was Lauren's new song "You Say/Believe" and Elevations "Do It Again" - love them both!

Saturday
I picked Ella up and we headed to the library - we gotta read a few more books and finish their Reading Bingo cards for school this week!
We also went to Dean's Farm Spring Fling - Ella was glad to meet up with the Stone girls there
Playing in the Matilda Jane tent
It was hot - so we got a snow cone to cool down
Ella played some games - spinning the wheel for a prize
She entered the coloring contest
We took a silly picture!
More games
Nora and Ella dancing in the Chicken Dance competition
We got some hibachi for lunch and it was so good!
We went and hung out at Mammy's house and took a break from the heat
Brooklynn and Mammy were snuggling
This girl was singing away to the Trolls movie
Dancing to the songs in the movie
Headed back outside to play
Swinging and eating popsicles
This is what happens when you are the only boy - the girls dress you up :)
Playing the Jelly Bean Game - all fun and games til Owen got the "spoiled milk" jelly  bean then it was all over - ha!
Ella was excited to come home to a package of new bathing suits!
Ella with all my Care Bear and Care Bear Cousins
We looked their names up because I couldn't remember them- Blue Wuzzles, Good Luck Bear, Bright Heart Raccoon, Gentle Heart Lamb, and Butterbear

Sunday
Me and Ella woke up and made a Dunkin run in our PJs
Logan, Meridith and Rhett came after church.  Ella getting Logan to play the Jellybean game with her - he ate a bunch of bad ones and never spit them out.  Caleb got the "barf" one and I was afraid he really would!
Rhett riding the Gator
Everyone wanted Rhett to ride with them!
PhePhe came over too - she is so much fun with the kids!
Bouncing her around
We had a Cinco de Mayo Party with fajitas!
Rhett was my little buddy!  Not sure if he liked me or just wanted my tea :)
Playing Twister to end the night!  Love spur of the moment fun family times!
