Rainy but Busy Weekend!

Saturday morning we attended the "Water Walk" at church to help raise money for wells in Africa.

It is sad that so many kids die due to unclean water.

 Ella wanted to carry a bucket so they made her a small one to carry that she couldn't spill.

It is "dirty water" because for so many kids in Africa, that is all they have!

After the walk, we headed to visit PePa and MeMa...

On Sunday afternoon, we went to Rebecca's Surprise Party.  She will be 40 this week!

Here she is walking in and not knowing what is going on.

After the party the kids slept on the way to Kinston to see my Papa.

 Looking pretty good for just getting out of the hospital with a heart attack.

He is bruised from hitting his head and being on blood thinner.

We visited alot this weekend to check on PePa and Papa since they both came out of the hospital this week.  We are thankful they are feeling better!

 

 

Taylors Every Day - week 13

Monday morning - this girl was ready for breakfast!

She is not a morning person and usually doesn't want to talk when she first wakes up but she is always ready to eat!

 Tuesday - Caleb had "U" week at school this week. 

For show and tell, he wanted to bring a picture of all his uncles :)

It was a rainy day and Ella was ready! 

Ella also wanted baby to be ready so she let baby borrow her boots! 

 

Tuesday - we FINALLY closed on our house!

We are officially homeless :)

 

Tuesday night, Caleb worked on a lego tower! 

 

Wednesday night - Corey went to see his dad in the hospital and when he got home, the kids were so happy to see him.  We let them stay up later and play a game so they could have some daddy time ;)

 

 

Thursday after Bible Study and lunch, the kids were tired and laid down for a few minutes together on the couch. 

 

Thursday night, Kent was sick and Melanie had to work so I picked up Owen from daycare and brought him home to play with us!   

We did alot of playing and knocked alot of towers down! 

 

Friday we had a quiet morning at home.

We continued "U" week at home and put together a puzzle of the "United States of America" 

And the kids wanted to paint and play with playdoh! 

 

 

 

 

Weekend of March 21st thru 23rd

This was our first weekend living with my parents.  We didn't have many plans and we were all tired from moving and cleaning all week so we had a low key weekend.

 

Friday night we had a quiet night and watched Frozen.

Caleb and my mom saw it in the theatre but this was Ella's first time :)

 

Saturday morning we had a lazy morning - Caleb played with his train tracks. 

 

We enjoyed the beautiful weather in the afternoon- went on a bike ride, took Bailey for a walk, and the kids rode their big wheels. 

 

Saturday night, Corey and I went to Logan's 30th Birthday Party in Greenville but I didn't take any pictures :(

 

Sunday morning - my two were lazy! 

 

But Owen spent the night and he was ready to go :)

Caleb loves building towers for Owen and Owen loves to knock them down!

Sunday afternoon, Ella took a quick nap before we headed to Russell's Birthday Party.

It was a nice weekened, now we are ready for another week!



Taylors Every Day - week 12

Monday after we got home from work and school - the kids watched the Ipad in my room. 

Ella loves to lay her head on Caleb's shoulder!  Sweet siblings!

Tuesday Ella woke up and her hair was in her eyes. 

She went and got a headband and fixed it all by herself.  She was so proud!

 

I cleaned the fridge out  and just left the essentials - apple juice, milk, and Dr. Pepper :) 

 

Tuesday night was the last night we spent in our house - bittersweet! 

 

 

Wednesday the kids said goodbye to their rooms!

Thursday Morning - Claire and I rode to Bible Study together and we had a back seat full of cuties!

Caleb went to school - it was "Treasure Hunt" day!

Thursday night we went back to our house to finish cleaning...

 

Our sweet neighbor Leigh Ann came and brought "goodbye"presents to the kids. 

 

Caleb and Mrs. Leigh Ann - he is always inviting her over to play! 

 

 Thursday night - first of many nights in their PJs with Mammy!

 

Friday - we thought our house would no longer be ours but there was a problem with the buyer's loan so we can't close as planned.  We are hoping this is just a minor setback and we can close soon!
