July 23rd thru 29th - What we have been up to?

We started off Monday with going ahead and getting a doctors appointment first thing!  Mom agreed to take me so Corey could get back to work but the chemo drug I needed was delayed so we took a little detour and me and mom had the best day!
Nice quiet lunch at Logans - we shared steak, potato, soup and salad.
The food was good but I was so just SO thankful for some alone time with my mama!
Meanwhile - the kids had a blast with Mrs. Linda!
They had so much fun and she treated them - thank you!
Ready to walk into chemo - I guess...
Wearing the necklace Mrs. Lori gave me "inhale grace and exhale praise"!
Ready to get it over with and waiting to ask the dr questions.
We enjoyed getting fun pictures of the kids to distract us!
ALL DONE!!   I wanted some ice cream and mom settled for a Sprite so we could hurry and get back to town. It took a lot longer than we thought!
We got home to beautiful flowers from Beth, Buster and Christy!  It was a nice surprise!
Daily reading that day - Psalm 143
Kids had a long day and I was so tired but I just love watching them sleep and kissed all over them.
So thankful and blessed with these two!
Not feeling good - thankful for friends and family who helped with the kids so I could get a nap!
I tried napping with Oreo but she didn't last long before she was chewing!
Ella was so excited about her new earrings (thanks to Mrs. Robin) - she got up and ready for a play date and church on Wednesday!
Staci sent me her scripture reading - love when friends do this!
Did a lot of reading - loved this on Mom's facebook page!
My sweet BSF friend Allison came and brought me lunch, gift cards, a flower and some Ziploc bags.  I just love her and how she always reaches out to me!  Her and I first bonded over our dads both passing away of cancer and how sad we were.  This girl is hilarious and such a blessing in my life!
Loved having more time to study and write notes in my Bible
New Book I started  - "Grace Not Perfection"
I don't like being laid up in bed but I do like the time I get to read and rest!
Mom helped with the kids so I could rest!
Thanks Allison for the flower - she got it to match my hair color she said :)
Kids worked on guitar, piano and reading while I rested!
Our neighbors (a pastor at another church's family) dropped off the nicest basket full of so many things for our family to enjoy!  Definitley a blessing!
Loving the First 5 App and going back thru book of John again after doing it with BSF
Sweet picture of our friends praying over me and Richard anointed me with oil.  We will always love the whole Cuddington family!  They sure are us a blessing to us!
We enjoyed a coffee bar - thanks to earlier deliveries from the Owens and Farmers.
Mr. Bill Reason was so sweet to drop off tomatoes for Corey!  Not to mention the Martys we got from the Smith/Brown clan!  We are def well fed - thank you!
More First 5 with Lysa
Nice and quiet Saturday morning making muffins with my girl
The boys got some yard work done and then had some fun at a RC car shop, fishing and at a tractor pull with the Hutchens!
Strawberry tea time with my girl - love her so much!
Ella did some birthday shopping in the American girl catalog!   She only wants a few things :)
The Radfords brought us a homemade lasagna to moms fully cooked and ready to go when we needed it- we froze it it us later but we love her lasagna so much!

Thankful to God and all my friends and family for letting me get the much needed rest my body has desperately needed!  Love you all!

Saturday was rough - our poor Rosie rabbit was struggling and went to Heaven.
Kids were all sad but I was proud of their maturity!   I sure did fall apart about it!  It was a blessing but another piece of dad gone to heaven too!
Owen waited all day for this popsicle!  He was the one who found Rosie struggling and said "Mammy I think her is just napping" and ran back inside.  We tried to revive her but Rosie was just hot and tired of fighting we think or she could have had a heart attack from all the thunder we heard!
He was so sweet - and this kid is a trip like his daddy!
Sweet memory of Rosie and Oreo - love all 4 of them!
So thankful we have Oreo now to keep us on our toes even though she is a wild and crazy puppy!
Love reading the scripture - trying to do better starting my day in the Bible!

Loved this quote!

Blessed week even though I have felt ROUGH and slept a lot!  Thanks for all the prayers!

Oh and I got a long nap!  IT WAS AWESOME!

Sunday, July 23rd
Had the sweetest time with just a few close friends who also knew Richard since he asked and offered to anoint me with oil - sorry if you were left out -  it was short notice and we didn't need a lot of people!
My view from the couch again
Sad my family was at church without me - I was told to rest!
Oreo Muffin Sprinkle Sparkle Taylor cuddled up for me - for about two minutes - but she is a sweet puppy!

What a week but lots of blessings!  Stay tuned...

Best way for me to keep up is just do a photo dump!
