Life Lately - SPRING BREAK

Sunday

When we were cleaning out Nana and Papa's house we found some of Nana's jewelry and brought it for the girls to play with

Ella's favorite - she will tell people it was her Mammy's Mommys

Brooklynn loved the jewelry - can you tell???

Monday

We were on the road to the beach by 8:00!

With the Brown girls - car loaded and ready to go! 

On the top bunk getting their room ready 

We changed into bathing suits and headed to the beach! 

Playing in the cold water! 

Feeding the seagulls then chasing them!

We stayed at the beach from about 11:00 am til 2:30 and then stayed at the pool til 4:00 pm! 

Bathed and playing - everyone likes the top bunk! 

Pizza on the porch for dinner 

Ready for bed by 8:00 pm - these kids played hard and were worn out! 

Tuesday

Up early on Tuesday - hanging with Claire 

Checkers and cartoons to start the morning 

Ready for the beach - day 2

Sweet friends - they played SO good together! 

Lots of jellyfish at the beach and we saw two sharks caught by fishermen on the beach 

It was windy and cool at the beach but they still had fun

You can't leave the beach without ice cream so we grabbed some before heading home!

Wednesday

Kids played at Mrs. D'Shay's house while I worked

They made some fun crafts as always! 

Caleb requested Burger King for lunch and a trip to Hobby Lobby to buy these little chicks with his Easter money 

Game Night at church - Elbow Tag and Scattergories

Ella's tooth was sooo loose but she wouldn't let me pull it so the "tooth fairy" pulled it after she went to sleep and left her a surprise!

Thursday 

Waking up and realizing she has one less tooth!

Another fun morning at Mrs. D'Shay's while I worked

Ella enjoyed playing with Aubree

We did a little shopping in Smithfield that afternoon 

Corey and Caleb worked on the garden that evening

Friday 

Last day of Spring Break and we stayed in our PJs til 11:00! 

We went to lunch and to the park with the McKeels 

It was hot so we cooled off with a snowcone and had a nice steak dinner with them 

Ella spent her Easter money on some new Playdoh toys

Saturday 

Between soccer games we went to pick strawberries at Dean's Farm 

Headed out - this year instead of cute little buckets we got these big boxes

We were disappointed the playground at Dean's wasn't open so we headed to the park for a picnic lunch 

Brooklynn turned 2 and had a Minnie Mouse Ice Cream party

Sunday 

After church we cleaned out the dormers at Mom and Dad's house

We found a lot of our old toys - Pound puppies

We found our old Nintendo - and Kent got it working!

Caleb loved playing it - it was fun to find our old toys

After dinner we played Scattergories - boys against girls

Guess who won!!!

We had a nice week off of school - now back to the routine til summer!
