Father Son Retreat at Camp Willow Run

Caleb and Corey went with a group from church to the Father Son Retreat this weekend at Camp Willow Run.  They both had such a good time!

Corey said Friday night they stayed up playing basketball til midnight and were up fishing by 7:00 on Saturday morning

For their recreation, they picked archery 

and BB Guns!  Total boy things to do! 

They also swam in the lake, played in a dodge ball father-son tournament (where the sons won!) as well as enjoyed some great speakers and biblical teaching.

So thankful that Caleb has such a great dad!  Corey is a great role model for him!

One of the special parts of the weekend is where the dads get to stand up and speak about how their son is special.  Caleb told me that daddy said I was "tenderhearted" and "willing to try anything new".  I said what did you say?  He said "Nothing I just smiled".  Thankful these two had some special time away together!
