Monday
Busy day between working and making funeral arrangements and kids were out of school - we didn't get home til late!
Tuesday
The day of Papa's funeral
The kids made cards to put in Papa's casket and we printed a picture of all the great grandbabies!

Wednesday
Mom had bought everyone Harlem Globetrotter tickets a while ago so we were looking forward to a fun night!

Thursday
It was Picture Day at school
Mom and I went back to the cemetery in Kinston to see how everything looked
We started the process of cleaning out Papa's and Nana's house - I got a few sentimental things to me. Nana's bible, the pan we used to always make biscuits in, some chickens (my Nana LOVED chickens) and a set of fine china from Lenox. The boys got some Civil War stuff and the girls got my Nana's costume jewelry!
After school we went to see the Ritchie's who were in town for the afternoon
Friday
The kids got great report cards so they were able to attend the Renaissance celebration at the bowling alley! 2nd Grade went first...

Ella slept late after a busy weekend
After church we headed back to Kinston to eat a roast (Papa's favorite) and clean out the house some more - love this Tshirt I found!
