Life Lately - Farm and Four Wheeling Fun

Monday
We began planning Caleb's 8th Birthday Party!  The weekend of his birthday we have a busy weekend so I asked him what he wanted to do and he said go bowling!  I told him that would work and to pick a few friends!

I sent this text to the moms of the friends he picked to celebrate with him -  "Caleb is turning 8 so bowl on over to celebrate"  Friday, May 5th at 4:00 Westview Lanes, Wilson

Tuesday
I asked Caleb if he wanted to wear his new tractor shirt.  His response "Yes, you know I am made for shirts like this, I'm a farm boy"  He sure does love going to Pepa and Mason's farm!
Grayson's mom sent me this of her having lunch with the boys
With his new Superman that Carl gave him

Wednesday
It was Grandparent's Day at the Book Fair - Mammy went and spoiled these two!
Bad storms were coming thru so they slept downstairs in the extra bedroom
Fast asleep (he had been reading his new book fair books bed!)

Thursday
Schools were on a delay due to bad weather so we went and had Chickfila breakfast.  I loved having some extra time with them in the morning.  We don't get many Chickfila dates now that they are both in school!

Friday
I worked at the book fair all day Friday and was exhausted after school - we cuddled up and watched some TV on the couch after school.
Family Froyo after dinner

Saturday
Soccer Time - Luke ran off the field to give Ella a hug when he saw her!
Picture Day - Ella's team
Caleb giving Nora a piggy back ride

Then we headed to Northampton County for the afternoon...
Finding creatures
The adults headed off to have some fun four wheeling while the kids stayed with MeMa
Headed out on the farm
In the woods
We wanted to find some mud but got stuck...
Then Corey decided to try and got stuck too!
They told Audrey to try it again so I rode with her but we still got stuck!
We hit a hole and my chin rammed into her back and we busted out laughing!
The girls took a turn in the gator
Then we picked up the kids to let them have a little fun too!
These two were excited!
Caleb looking on - he wants to be just like them!
Shooting skeet
Such sweet little friends!  Mama Ella taking care of Luke
My turn to shoot
Riding around the farm with their hair blowing in the wind
The boys had oysters for dinner (and the girls had pizza)
It was Craw's birthday so the kids sang and we ate cookie cake!

Sunday
The kids led worship on Sunday morning and did so good!
The choir did the motions with them!
Ella was a microphone hog and slowly was nudging Madi Grace over
See - she had the microphone all to herself by the end of the songs - ha!
They Sang "Our God is a Great Big God" and "Never Stopping Love" and did great!  They all sang and did the motions!
Playing in the sunshine after church and lunch
Decorating cards and cookies for some shut ins at church
Ella was the only girl there
These kids did great visiting the shut ins - they sang for them, prayed with them and loved on them!
