Sunday
It was a very scary day at the hospital - Dad's doctor told us that he would probably not leave the hospital due to everything he had going on - infection, seizures, fever, heart in a fib, oxygen dropping, etc. Around 10:00 am he wasn't responsive anymore so it was a long night!
Monday
Spent lots of time with this boy - so thankful he is my brother! He was a rock for our family!
He's back - so thankful!
Tuesday
We took the kids to see dad - Caleb crawled right in the bed with him!
Happy boys right there!
Ella preferred to snuggle with Mammy
MeMe was a lifesaver - she came and stayed from Sunday to Thursday and did everything for me so I could be with dad - laundry, cooking, cleaning, homework!
Ella wasn't happy about learning her site words.

Thursday
I came home from the hospital and we ate Chinese late with the Boltons after they helped us rearrange some furniture at Mom and Dad's house. Think this girl missed me!

Friday
Lunch with my girl!
Lunch with Caleb and his buddies - they were supposed to be on a field trip but it was cancelled due to the state of emergency
We got some things ready for Granddaddy to come home - but he wasn't able to due to late approval by the insurance company
We went and ate at San Jose for Corey's birthday on Friday night
And came home and made his birthday request - a cheesecake!

Saturday
It was Corey's birthday and Hurricane Matthew hit us!
Kent and Joey went to Raleigh to help get mom home but the transport team stopped transporting patients so dad didn't get to come home - again!
They had a time getting back home!

Corey's birthday dinner - Kent and Melanie stayed with us since their yard has a lot of big trees!

The road right past our neighborhood was blocked off due to Silver Lake damn breaking and flooding Lake Wilson which flooded some of the yards right down the street from us
AND - Dad finally came home!
