Cookout with friends after church
Caleb with his special box - Caleb inherited Granddaddy's pocket knife and wanted a special box to keep it in so he wouldn't loose it.  Mrs. Edith brought Caleb a special box and it made his night.  He was showing everyone and couldn't wait to put it in his room!

Monday
Field Trip with 2nd Grade to the Fire Safety House
The kids had a crawl out of a window in a smoky bedroom - it was neat and very educational!
At the meeting place after all the kids got out safe
Best buddies!

Tuesday
Kids were out of school for the election and Corey took off and headed home to vote and hang out with his mom and the kids!
I worked, had dinner with mom and finally got a military jacket that I had been wanting!
Watching the election results and praying, praying, praying!

Wednesday
Between work, school and church - it was a busy day - no pictures

Thursday
My little pirates ready for "Pirate Day" at school
Love these cuties - Ella wasn't excited about her outfit because it wasn't pink!
With her work in the hallway at teacher conferences
Loved that we got good reports on both kids including how well behaved and well mannered they are at school - to me that is more important than good grades!
Working on our "thankful" tree
We all filled out different color leaves of what we are thankful for...
Ella is thankful for - her home, food, Caleb, her friends, and time with her family
Caleb is thankful for - God, Ella, family, school, and water
Maggie is thankful for - Jesus and heaven, family and friends, good health, church and weekends
Corey is thankful for - freedom, salvation, job, family and friends, and creation

Friday
Kids were out of school for Veterans Day - that morning we shopped for our shoebox stuff.
Lunch at Chickfila with the Stones
The kids picking out a few things in Target they wanted to Christmas
Celebrating Melanie's (and Corey's) birthdays - Corey's birthday kind of got skipped this year with all that was going on with dad in October so tried to make up for it.  Best in Burgers for dinner and Strawberry Cake for dessert at Something Different.

Saturday
The boys headed to Northampton County to help Mason on the farm.
The girls went chair shopping - my birthday present that I hadn't picked out yet!
Cousins built a fire and roasted s'mores

Sunday

Fun in the inflatables
Buddies
Little girls with the big girls

Taking it very serious
My balloon
Ella with her balloon - she did a good job with her "64"
Caleb drew all over his balloon very detailed
Ready to send our balloons to heaven
We love and miss you Granddaddy!
We had a nice day celebrating dad's birthday - church then family time with bacon, eggs, and oatmeal for supper.  That was dad's specialty but Corey and Kent did a great job cooking for us.  We miss you so much but know you are having the best birthday yet up in Heaven.
