This year at church instead of a traditional play the teenagers and toddlers presented the 12 symbols of Christmas. The teenagers talked about each symbol and the toddlers quoted a bible verse that went with each symbol. Caleb had two parts - cookies and candy canes. He did such a good job saying the Bible verses he had memorized.
Caleb waiting to say his part ...
Caleb holding his plate of cookies - his part was
"Behold, like the clay in the potters hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel" Jeremiah 18:6
He did so good standing still while the other kids said their part.
Caleb's candy cane part -
"And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins" Matthew 1:21
Caleb showing everyone that the candy cane upside down looks like a "J" for "Jesus"

After the program Mrs. Pam gave Caleb and Ella a sleigh with Santa made out of chocolate candy. They also got several presents from their teachers at church. They were spoiled rotten today at church!
