Caleb/God Moments

Caleb is getting to the age that he can understand alot and I want to document a few sweet moments that we have had recently and I pray we will have more and more of them...

• Caleb says his blessing and it is usually a song and sometimes a long one where he sings "I love you God" over and over and over again at the end.  He is usually loud when he sings this song and it doesn't matter who is around (ex. - we will be at a restaurant and I feel like people are staring at us due to his loud song).  I pray that you are always unashamed and pray so boldly!
• We were checking out the other day at JC Penny and he asked the lady "Do you know God loves you and me?"  She replied "Yes he does buddy" and gave me the biggest smile.  I pray you always have a desire to share with others!
• I am thankful that we are able to go to Bible Study on Thursday mornings which has an amazing childrens program.  This year we are studying Matthew and recently had a lesson on the Beatitudes.  The lesson on being a peacemaker has really stuck with Caleb.  He will give in easier when fighting with Ella or not wanting to share and say "Does that make me a peacemaker?" or "Is God proud?".  I pray you always strive to make God proud.
• The other day Caleb wanted to paint and I asked him who he was painting it for.  "God" he replied quickly.  I told him how much God loved his picture.  He said "I am going to write my name on it so God knows it was from me".  I said "Caleb, you don't have to write your name on it...God knows it is your painting.  He knows everything about us..even the number of hairs on our head".  He replied "Yeah Mommy...God knows alot".  I pray that you always want to do things for God.

I am so thankful for these little God moments with Caleb.

Caleb - I pray for you daily buddy!  I pray that you receive Jesus at an early age, I pray that you grow in stature and in wisdom, that you grow in favor with God and man, that you make Christian friends that point you to Him, that you do right even when no one is looking, and I pray that you will always so boldly declare the Gospel.  I am thankful that you are not ashamed and I pray you always stay that way!  I love you so much but God loves you even more!
