Life Lately - First Day of School and Labor Day with Taylors

Here is what we have been up to lately
We saw a very pretty butterfly on our back porch and Caleb grabbed a quick picture before he flew away and Oreo could get it!

August 27th
My sweet babies (or big kids) headed to 2nd and 4th grade
My mama heart is sad they are so big but thankful they are happy, healthy and growing!
Caleb didn't really want to make his sign so I helped him - gotta get a close up later so I can read it.

He wants to be an engineer like his daddy, he was excited to see his sister in the hallway and be back at school to see his friends and learn about math!  He decorate his with a handshake and NC State.

Caleb is switching class this year so he has two teachers - Mrs. Amerson and Mrs. Harper.  He was a little disappointed his best buddies were not in the same class but he has already made new friends!

Silly picture - sure do love this kid!

Ella was happy to make her sign

She is going into 2nd grade and was so excited to have her tumble teacher Miss Bailey Brick.  She is so excited about starting school and learning.  She is definitely so much more independent this year so I am thankful for that.  She LOVES school, her teachers and her friends in her class!

Showing off her new bookbag she got for her birthday

She picked it out but its about as big as her but she loves it.  Thanks Mammy!
With her sign

She wants to be a vet when she grows up still - she loves animals!
They both wanted a picture with Oreo - she is a wild and crazy puppy but we all love her!
Took a few more since Oreo was still and you could see her face!
Both kids sure do love Oreo!
Calebs homeroom teacher - Mrs. Amerson

This is the morning they started school so he wasn't feeling pictures with his friends but I grabbed a quick one since I forgot at Open House!

Ella wanted to take a few more so we got one by a bulletin board on the 2nd grade hall.
At her desk and was now like "Ok mom, I am good!  She kissed me quickly and was ready for her day.  So thankful cause K and 1st she was hanging on my leg and it was hard on me!
Her teacher had books set out for her to read and she is loving it!
After school treat - took Oreo to pick them up and got a Starbucks.
Two happy kids but Oreo barked ALOT while we were waiting!
Sunday before school - quick get together with friends from church
Ice Cream and water fun!  We couldn't invite everyone and missed a picture while Camden was here but thanks for coming and hanging with us.  My kids had a blast and we were happy to see some of our BFFs!

Labor Day with the Taylor
I didn't get many pictures!
We are about outnumbered with dogs and kids but the kids sure are happy!
Katie was in the bottom crate, Oreo was stacked on top and Jax was outside.
Not sure what we will do with Delta when she comes back and now Cleo when they come!
9 grandkids (kids now outnumber the boys with Micah!) and 5 dogs (all girls!) but happy and blessed with a lake life!  Lots of memories made at the lake!  I know Mema never thought that with 4 Taylor boys!  Everyone has a buddy so its so nice!
Jodi and Ella hung out more this trip since they were not into fishing as much
Caleb loves to fish and ski.
He is way better than me esp since he can ski on one.  He got some Taylor genes for sure!
He is just like his daddy and for that I am thankful but boy does he look like a Raynor!
So proud of this sweet 9 year old!
Ella loves to tube and belly board!
She enjoyed doing it with Lena and Jodi and by herself.  It brought back memories of me and Mitzi and her sisters when we were first married and tubing just like that.  Now we are content to sit and watch and not get hurt :)
Corey had a busy weekend and helped around the lake house a lot but when the kids say ride he is always ready!  Think he got a little dizzy pulling them in circles but he doesn't complain and it was HOT outside!  I was just trying to prevent sunburns for everyone!

First Week at school
Loving getting pictures on Class Dojo
Bar graph with his buddy Emma R

Also got a few new pics from Mom's phone
Ella on her birthday - August 20th

She has mastered a bike and now wants to ride Caleb's!  We love her helmet!
First week of School - Caleb enjoyed golf camp with Nathan at Willow Springs
He sure loves golf like his Granddaddy, Uncle Kent, Uncle Craw and Uncle Josh ;)
He liked the Wedgewood Camp better so we are not going to commit to Willow Springs cause he has a full plate with baseball, guitar, STRIDE, school and church.  He LOVES all sports and is good at them just like his daddy!

Ella also started piano and pre tumble team but I didn't get any pictures - I'll do better this week!

We enjoyed a dinner with our friends the Wetheringtons!
Caleb loving playing with Kenzie Kate and Ella was a big help to Laura with Dixon during dinner and bath time.  I didn't get a good picture cause he is walking but we enjoyed seeing them.
Thanks for dinner again - we owe ya'll a night out!

Also wanted to post some of these SO blessed!
From one of other mamas - Sweet Mary Jo

From Jenna - man I miss that girl so far away but know she is so happy in Andrews with her new boyfriend who we all love too!

From the BSF Childrens Leader - my kids both were blessed to have her!
She is awesome and I can't wait to start BSF again!

Another round of treatment done  (#3 on Sept 5th)- my HCG levels are down to 7511!
So thankful for the treatment that is working - keep praying they come down quickly and completely and no further treatment is needed!  Thanks friends!
