Life Lately - Last Week of School and More Bad News!

Monday

Caleb took care of the garden while Corey was away to Sweden, France, and Denmark for work 

We went to the Tobs Game for Read Around The Bases. Caleb won 10 free tickets for reading so we invited the McKeels to go with us.

Tuesday

Claire called and wanted us to join her at the pool so we checked Caleb out of school early and headed to swim!  Ella had to get her baby ready first.

Dad went to the dr and they found some spots on his spine :(

Wednesday 

After camp, Ella helped me get ready for Caleb's End of Year Party - she made her own fruit kabob.

PS - Dad got more bad news - spots on his spine are cancer and will start treatment immediately.

Thursday

My bed  - these kids have taken over while Coreys gone 

Ella had a picnic at her last day of camp

Caleb Last Day of School - he got out at 1:00 and wanted to go to the bank to put his birthday money in. 

We picked our first crop of green beans! 

With his pineapple craft they finished at school today

We met at Cracker Barrell for dinner and Owen rode back to Mammys with us

First official day of summer break

We got donuts and coffee in our PJS! 

Ella decorated Bailey's crate with her artwork from camp 

We joined the Browns at the pool that afternoon 

Daddy came home and brought chocolate eggs for the kids and some new games

Saturday

 

Caleb woke up with a big swollen knot on his neck so we headed to the dr. 

He was diagnosed with strep, the start of an ear infection and possibly an infection in his lymph nodes but he didn't have a sore throat and didn't feel bad but we had a low key day.

Sunday 

We had a pool party with our Sunday School class and it was so much fun! 

Doug didn't swim but poured ice cold water on the ones of us that were swimming so....

While he was in church that night we saran wrapped his car! 

The kids with the finished product.  Caleb wasn't so sure about all this - he kept saying but Mr. Doug is my friend!  Ella was all for it since he got her with the cold water!

The boys had to use the bathroom while we worked so they just dropped their pants - must be nice!

Doug was surprised when he came out of church - but we were nice and helped him clean it off!

He said there will be payback so we will see!
