Life Lately - First Full Week of Summer


Monday
We went to the library to sign up for their summer reading program 
The kids played in the kid area for a while and I enjoyed the peace and quiet :) 
We made peach dumplings 
YUM! 
We got sweet letters from Jenna at camp 
That night we met Heather and Tucker at the library for "Circus Shenanigans" 
Juggling 
High in the sky - Ella loved this! 
On stilts and doing tricks 
With the performers after the show 
Jenna sent Ella a friendship bracelet.  She loves being like the big girls

Tuesday 
We headed to the pool 
The boys played baseball in the backyard while the girls ate freeze pops

Wednesday 
Paint party at church with the teens 
Taping their artwork 
All the pictures together  
Ready to throw the paint balloons 
Paint was splattering everywhere 
Making the hand print cross for the room

Thursday 
We went to the movies and saw "Epic" with the Stones 
Play Date at their house and the girls always end up dressing up! 
Mr. Doug and some of the kids in God's Backyard before it gets redone 
We went and made a funny video to try and get donations from the congregation 
Letting them paint the wall and the video will say "We Need Your Help" 
Caleb was a happy boy that Granddaddy made him a new rabbit box for our house.  He hopes to catch a new pet!

The kids also enjoyed playing with Lauren and Granddaddy while I worked.

Friday
We met the Hutchens at the pool and I didn't take any pictures!
Saturday
Making dessert for Father's Day 
We told Corey we would do whatever he wanted to do - he picked putting out pinestraw! 
Caleb caught a frog! 
His report card came in the mail - All Ms for mastery, reading level N, and his teacher commented he was "such a pleasure to teach",  So proud of this boy! 
We ate lunch at the Creamery with the Stones 
Took the kids to play putt putt - Ella picked a pink ball  
With his buddy Pierce

The kids flew thru putt putt but had a great time!
