Caleb's First Day of Kindergarten

Caleb had his first day of Kindergarten today!  He woke up and was a little nervous about going to his new school today. 

 

We got dressed and headed outside for a few pictures...

We wrote hugs and kisses on each others hands so when we missed each other we would have a hug and a kiss ready :)  Then we said a prayer and headed in...

We were a little early so we had to wait in the library for his teacher to come and get us.

Then we walked to the classroom and Caleb got to pick a seat

It was staggered entry by alphabet so he just had two kids in his class today.  Here is he with Sophia and his teacher, Mrs. Shuford.

He never cried but had a scared look on his face when I left.  I got in the car and burst into tears! 

 

Ella asked all day if it was time to get Caleb yet and finally 3:00 came!

He got in the car all smiles and said he had a good day!  He even got a treasure from the treasure chest!

He had a good report in his bookbag - he stayed on green all day which means he behaved!

Ella picked out a surprise for him to have when he got out of school.  She picked out a Superman and a Batman monster truck and he loved it!

We are so proud of our big boy!

Reunited - they were both happy!

 

Caleb said he had a good day but it was a long day!  He says he is ready to go back tomorrow.  I pray his excitement for his new school continues!!!



Ella's 3rd Birthday Party!

For Ella's 3rd Birthday, she requested a Mermaid Party at the Splash Party so that is just what she got!

 

 

Mama and I spent Friday evening cooking and baking and getting all the food ready!
