Caleb's 8th Birthday

Not sure how it got here so quickly but Caleb turned 8!
Ella wanted to make him a birthday card before she went to bed
We got his cards made and presents laid out
I worked on party prep for his bowling party
He woke up early but got dressed and waited for Ella to wake up before he opened his gifts
He was happy with his PJs, Clue game and NCSU polo (so he could match daddy).
Mammy stopped by and gave him a book he had been wanting before work.
We also reminded him about the fishing pole he got last week early ;)
As soon as he opened Clue he wanted to play - so we did!
Due to the delay, we had a nice relaxing morning!
And he won!
He was happy with his bowling plates!
Breakfast time #8 waffles, our birthday tradition!
My big boy is 8!

I am so proud of his tender heart, what a great big brother he is, how much he helps his family, and what a generous spirit he has!  Can't wait to see what God has in store for your life!

Birthday party at school - chocolate chip cookies and strawberries

After school I picked up a few of his friends to celebrate...
A loud van ride with some excited boys - Caleb, Charlie, Grayson and Govind
Bowling plates and napkins, donut holes, Cheddar and Sour Cream chips, Doritos, and apples with caramel - all of the birthday boy's food requests
We celebrated with friends at a Bowling Party
Katelyn, Pierce, Caleb, Mattox, Govind, Grayson and Charlie
Of course the little sisters had to celebrate too!
Ella's turn to bowl - the girls loved to use the ramp
The boys were more interested in the arcade games than bowling most of the party!
Madi Grace and Ella helping each other - the girls liked getting balls for each other
The birthday boy
 Bowling fun
With two of his best buddies
These three girls always have a fun time together
Mammy came to help us celebrate
Family fun at the bowling alley
Best buddies at school
Kent just happened to be at the bowling alley since his golf tournament was cancelled - wish I had of known so he could have brought Owen to bowl.
Due to the time of the party (right after school), we just invited friends and no cousins.
Ella loves Uncle Kent
So thankful for these "mom" friends
Daddy had to get in on the bowling action
He never wants cupcakes at his party - so donuts were his request
Singing to the birthday boy
Make a wish
The little sister end of the party
Caleb and his best buddies - from school, from church, from preschool
Love all these sweet friends in his life!
Present time - he was excited about a new water gun
More nerf guns - just what he needs!
Balls that bounce on water
He loves games - he was excited to have Battleship
I love this picture - Ella loves her big brother so much and wants to be near him!
He got a 4 wheeler helmet - but its a little snug!
My fault - I told Mammy what size to order
Mammy got the kids fidget spinners, its the new fad right now
Pizza Inn for dinner, birthday boy's request

What a fun day celebrating the birthday boy and doing all the things he loves and requested!
