Life Lately - More Christmas Fun

Sunday we hung our Crosses for Christmas ornament on the Christmas tree

Monday
Ella's teacher sent home some extra copies of papers she didn't need and Ella has been playing school with her babies - she is writing Sophia's name on her school papers here
Babies lined up and listening
Monday night I had a staff meeting and came home to the kids eating homemade sugar cookies Corey made with them

Tuesday
At the memorial service at Evergreen Cemetery - we had to write a message to our loved one who had passed away and put it on a Christmas tree - it was depressing!  So glad mom said we didn't have to do that every year

Wednesday
Dad's grave with a new Christmas lantern mom got for him as well as the luminary (this is just a temporary marker til we order the real one)
Practicing her letters after school - she does HW even if she isn't assigned any - this girl is already reading on a level C (and she only has to be at a level D by the end of the year)
The cemetery does luminaries at Christmas and it is very pretty - we rode thru and snapped a picture of kids with Dads grave - it made Caleb so sad!  He cried and cried when we left :(
Youth Christmas Party that night - we had fun playing games
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer  (I have no idea why they covered their whole face with the pantyhose)
Snowball Fight - this was so much fun!

Thursday
Ella did her fingernails with a "Finding Dory" kit she got at church on Wednesday night

I also went with a group of girls to see the play at Peace Church but we forgot to take any pictures!

Friday
I have been volunteering in Ella's class on Friday mornings and helping with Christmas crafts - here is what we worked on last week and was hanging on the door this week.
That night we bundled up and went to "Christmas in Wilson"
Waiting in line to see Santa
Hearing about the real meaning of Christmas
Seeing Santa
Decorating sugar cookies
with lots of sprinkles and icing!
Playing games
Pin the nose on Olaf
Candy Cane Walk
Face painting
Love these girls - drinking hot chocolate and letting the kids play in the inflatables
We ended the night with a fireworks show!

Saturday
We baked Christmas goodies with Mammy - our annual tradition
The kids worked on turtles and I was making sausage balls
Mammy and Caleb mixing up white trash
All the tins filled and ready for our Christmas parties
Saturday night we had Hardison Christmas - we ate dinner at Outback
and had dessert at Uncle Tom's house.  These three cousins had so much fun playing together!

Sunday
The kids had play practice
Ella wanted to be right in the microphone
Then time for our Sunday School Christmas party - we played games like kids but had so much fun!
The whole crew - love my church friends!
After the party some of us we headed to the "Train of Lights" - an annual Wilson tradition
Waiting in line with some of my favorite girls!
Sweet friends with their glow sticks
Piled on the train
We almost took up the whole train with the people we were with
Our favorite part - the tunnel!
We made a quick stop at Dunkin Donuts to warm up and get a snack!

What a fun weekend with friends!
