Life Lately - Spring Break

Monday
We got up early and headed to Busch Gardens with Abbie and her kids.
Waiting in line to ride, it was a little more crowded than usual

Scrambler
Hot Air Balloon Ride
Bumper Cars
Then we got in line for the swings...
Ella ran/fell smack dap into the gate and a metal piece sticking out sliced her head!
Waiting at the Busch Gardens First Aid area.
Caleb was such a trooper holding Ella's hand
They cleaned her head, bandaged it up and sent us to the ER.
At the Riverside Hospital in Williamsburg - it was so nice!
Being a brave girl - stitches round #2.
This girl is non stop and clumsy.
The volunteers came in and brought the kids coloring books.
Waiting for the numbing cream to work.
Her main concern was when she could go back and ride the Grover Coaster.
All stitched up and ready to go back - she was sleepy and red eyed from crying from the stitches.
Back at Busch Gardens and we closed the park down!
Riding the Grover Coaster
Abbie riding with all the kids
Playground area
Abbie bought Ella this doll while we were gone and she loved it!
Back and fearless - had to tell her to sit down on this ride!
Carousel
Pompay - we got wet!
The whole group - two families from Abbie's school were there as well and we rode some rides with them too.
Fun times!
We ended the night with Dippin Dots as "pinky promised"

Tuesday
MeMa came to keep the kids while I worked.
Making their names on Light Brite - so proud!

All smiles even with stitches

Wednesday
The kids stayed with Granddaddy in the morning while I worked and set up for Game Night...
Chickfila Nugget picnic before it began
Pie Face - Corey lucked out!
Ella's turn
She wasn't as lucky but she loved the whipped cream on her head
Love the facial expressions as people were getting "pied in the face"
Extreme Dots - fun for all ages
Capture the Flag
We ended the night with ice cream and popsicles - fun night for all ages!

Thursday
I got up and worked early while Ella watched TV
These two said it "felt good to be lazy" while I cleaned, straightened and organized.
And we sold the Jetta - a part of Taylor history gone :)

Friday
We ran some errands and had a picnic lunch
The Browns came to play
Caleb found a LONG worm and we enjoyed the afternoon outside.
Corey and Caleb went fishing and Caleb was so happy with this little fish he caught.  Then I left for a weekend away in Charlotte with the girls!

Saturday
Headed out for our marathon shopping day!
After some shopping at Birkdale we took a bathroom/Starbucks break
Taking a selfie in the sun - so glad I brought my selfie stick
We ate lunch in downtown Charlotte at Tupelo Honey Cafe
Love these girls - I have grown up with them and they are like my little sisters!  I'm the old one in the group :(
After lunch we went to IKEA
After shopping there we got some cinnamon rolls for our snack and then made our way to Concord Mills.
About 10:00 pm, we ate at Texas Road House.  We all kind of wanted to share some appetizers but while we waited for a table we decided, forget the appetizers and all got steaks.  It was delicious!

Sunday
Up and ready to got to church
Back with my babies on Sunday night - good to get away but always good to be back home.
