On Thursday afternoon, we left for Charlotte and Great Wolf Lodge.
Headed out and watching a movie
Eating peanuts and happy as can be!
We got there about 4:00 and they couldn't wait to get in their bathing suits
Changed and ready to go to the water park

Ella wasn't tall enough to ride any of the big water slides so she hung out in this area a lot.

We left the water park about 6:30 and headed back to the room to change and explore

We ate dinner at "The Lodge" and it was good!

Then we headed to the arcade...Caleb brought some of his own quarters to spend

By this point she had run out of money but didn't know the difference.
She was swiping her card so fast and then would move on to the next game and I would have to finish the game and win her tickets

Then we ran back up to the room to get a quick bath and change into their PJs for story time and the show in the lobby.

After breakfast and doing a few things in the lobby, we headed back to the room to pack the car and get our bathing suits on!

Caleb could ride all the water slides and his favorite was the Tornado, where you drop 6 stories and swish around in this tornado type tube. Corey and I took turns riding with him.
We got ready to go around 5:00 so we could drive while it was still light. The kids had Dippin Dots in the lobby while their hair dried a little and the car warmed up!
We headed out in snowy conditions to Daniel and Heather's house
Ella fell fast asleep!
We stopped and got Cookout for everyone for dinner (first stop was at Bojangles but they were not open due to the weather!)

Sunday morning we ate breakfast and headed home and the roads were a lot better!
It was a fun weekend - just crazy we went from bathing suits to snow suits in less than 24 hours!
