Taylors Every Day - week 36

Monday morning Ella got dressed for school and sat on top of Granddaddy while she watched TV.  Granddaddy had laid on the floor and fell asleep and she used him as a seat.  He didn't even notice!

 

Tuesday morning Ella was snuggling with "MadiO" (her new baby's name) 

She is such a little mommy!

 

After school we went to the lunch with the Browns 

Ella enjoyed ice cream as usual

After school, Granddaddy and Caleb worked on bird houses 

They got one done for each of the grandkids

 

Wednesday was Ella's Birthday Party at school

After school Caleb wanted to ride his big wheel - he looks so grown up in this picture!

Granddaddy has been working on a set of golf clubs for Caleb 

They are ready and Caleb was so happy!

There are tons of frogs at the building at church and I have been promising the kids that we will catch one so after church on Wednesday night we headed on a frog hunt... 

And we got one - such a happy boy!

The things you do as a "boy mom"

 

Ella kept saying she wanted a "girl" frog - and I think she thought it should not be green!  We would hand her one and she would say "No, I want a girl one".  We never found one she was satisfied with.

 

Thursday morning the kids played dress up after they got ready for school 

Caleb was a "worker man" and Ella was a princess

 

After we dropped Caleb off at school, Ella and I headed to Bible Study 

I am so glad to be back in BSF - this year we are studying the life of Moses. 

In just the first lesson, I've learned so much!

 

Thursday night Caleb and I went to a reading workshop for K parents.  I was pleased at how well he did with all the concepts and we got to meet a few new New Hope Parents.

Well worth an hour of my time!

 

Friday morning Caleb got ready for school

And  made a race track to play with while we waited

After we dropped Caleb off we headed shopping for some fall clothes and PJs - and of coure MadiO came with us. 

Heather and Teague came too - fun day with friends!

 

Friday night Caleb had soccer practice and Charlie's Birthday Party
