This has been a crazy winter. We got more snow Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. .
Here are a few pictures from our snow days...
Tuesday - It didn't start snowing til around lunchtime so Caleb went to school. When I picked him up it was snowing so pretty and he was so excited. When we got back home we didn't have much snow at our house and he was a disappointed little boy!
Wednesday - no school or church
Caleb and Ella playing in the tent we made
Caleb was dying to go out and play in the snow...so he bundled up!
Ella wanted to go too - trying to get her mittens right!
Headed out to play...
All Ella wanted to do was eat the snow.
I sat inside and watched them at the window :)
Caleb brought in some ice to eat
And of course they wanted snow cream for dessert!
We cuddled up and watched a movie after dessert.
Thursday
They woke up and started playing games...
...and being silly...
...and putting together puzzles..
...and painting!
Ella loved painting! She made a big mess!
Here is Caleb with his creation.
We ran out of green paint. He said "No problem, I can make green with blue and yellow!". And he did! I asked him where he learned that. His response was "I don't know..some book!" Ha!
The kids were playing in Caleb's room and I told them to close their eyes that I had a surprise for them...this is how I found them :)
I brought some snow in so they could play with it and put some of their toys in it.
They loved it and started playing right away. Caleb told me "Thank You!"
Silly Ella kept wanting to stick her feet in.
Still playing - this kept them busy for a while!
How it looked when they finished - Caleb added quite a few more cars :)
Caleb was ready for Ella to wake up from her nap so they could go outside
So he waited quietly by her bed!
Then they got to go outside and play and jump on the trampoline!
They got a little muddy so this is how I found them - washing their feet!
Here are a few things we have been doing to keep busy!
We also made Valentines but I can't show those just yet :)
