Girls Weekend

While the boys were away, we had some fun girl time.  I picked Ella up on Saturday morning and we headed out to Deans for the Strawberry Festival.

We got showered and headed to Roanoke Rapids for Jules, Lena and Jodi's dance recital 

Jules left before I got a picture but Ella loved watching them dance.

We had a good weekend but we are ready to see our boys!

Spring Break - Rest of the Week

On Wednesday, Corey was able to take off so we headed to Northampton County for the day.  It worked out great because Logan was there with his kids and Mitzi and her kids were on Spring Break too!

We got there early so the kids watched some cartoons 

Ella loves Micah - she was tired so she cuddled right up with her!

We got some strawberries and Chickfila nuggets and headed to meet Claire at the pool. 

Owen said his favorite part of the day was the pool 

Ella was chilling - the water was SO cold but the kids didn't care

Caleb finally got to drive his RC boat he got at Christmas 

Claire's older kids had school but we enjoyed the pool with JC and Nora 

Walmart run to get something for dinner

Catherine turns 7 - we all went to Chickfila and then Ella spent the night with them.

Caleb headed off with Corey for a Father Son weekend at Camp Willow Run.

It was a busy but fun week.  Monday will be hard to get back in a routine!

Spring Break Fun - Day One and Two

Here is what we were up to while the kids were out on Spring Break -

Monday

We did some stuff around the house and Ella made some crafts 

We rode to Kinston with Mammy and kids had Taco Bell - their favorite!

Tuesday - we headed to the beach for the day 

We were loaded up and ready to go by 7:00

Caleb used his money and got another pocket knife 

On the beach by 10:00 and the weather was SO nice 

Caleb took his magnet to try and find hidden treasure
